<p><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> <p>The purpose of this study was to determine the intrinsic elements (theme, plot, characterizations, setting, language style) in the film "Theeb" by Naji Abu Nowar, and to determine the moral message in the film "Theeb" by Naji Abu Nowar. This research uses qualitative research. The data source for this research is the Jordanian Arabic film “Theeb”, and from several related or relevant books, journals, and theses. The object of this research is the intrinsic elements contained in the film Theeb. Using the documentation method with a descriptive approach which was analyzed using inductive data analysis. The results of the analysis of Theeb film's research, there are two themes in this film, namely major and minor themes, the conflict of changes in manual transportation using camels and horses with Hijaz rail transportation and the introduction of Bedouin cultural customs. There are three plots in Theeb's film, namely the beginning of the conflict, the culmination of the conflict, and the settlement. The plot in Theeb's film uses a forward plot. There are six dominant characters in Theeb film, namely Theeb, Husein, Sheikh, Marji, Edward, and Hasan. This film has five place settings and three time settings, namely the Theeb family settlement, Roman Well, Mountain or Cliff, Train, and Station. The setting of this film is Morning, Afternoon, and Night. This film has two language styles, namely rhetorical and figurative. This film has two moral messages, namely the moral message of human relations with themselves and human relations with other humans. From the results of the analysis in Theeb film, it can be concluded that this film has two themes, three plots, six characters, five place settings, three time settings, two language styles and two moral messages</p>Reny IndriyatiWahyudi Buska

<p>The purpose of this study was to determine the intrinsic elements (theme, plot, characters and characterizations, setting, point of view of the story) in the 2008 animated film Kung Fu Panda directed by Melissa Cobb, and to find out the values contained in the animated film. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research data source is the animated film Kung Fu Panda 2008 in English and using Arabic translation by Shimaa Adel. The object of this research is the intrinsic elements in the 2008 animated film Kung Fu Panda published by the Layarkaca21.com website and the values contained in the animated film. The method used to analyze the data is a description of the analysis. The results of the analysis of the intrinsic elements and values contained in the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda. The theme contained in this film is struggle. The plot contained in this film is a mixed plot. The characters in this film are Poo, Tai Lung, Grand Master Oogway, Master Shifu, Tigress, Viper, Monkey, Mantis, Crane, Tuan Ping, Zeng, Commander Vachir. The setting in this film is a valley of peace. The point of view used in this film is in the first person, namely Po. <p>In this thesis the author discusses the illocutionary speech acts in the cartoon film Al-Hussein Ibn Sina. The aims of this study are: 1) To find out the types of speech acts (illocutions) in the cartoon film of Al-Hussein Ibn Sina. 2) To find out the purpose in the film. This research is library research. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the source of data in this study is the speech act in the film Al-Hussein Ibn Sina, the researcher uses in-depth observation and documentation techniques.By using this method, it can be concluded that the results of this study: 1) The illocutionary speech acts in the cartoon film Al-Hussein Ibn Sina amount to 76 utterances while the assertive is 17, the directive is 17, the commissive is 14, the expressive is 19, and the declarative is 9. 2) The purpose of illocutionary speech acts in the cartoon film Al-Hussein Ibn Sina while assertive speech contains explanations, opinions, proposes, affirms, and complains. The directive contains advice/recommendations, orders, prohibitions, requests, expectations. Commissive contains denial, promise, threat, guarantee. <p>The novel “قلب الليل” tells the dramatic story of a man named Ja'far. Ja'far was once at the peak of happiness before he fell into a valley of suffering. He became impoverished, his family life fell apart, and he became involved in a politically motivated murder case. The strong emotional pressures from his past led Ja'far to face difficult situations in his life. Ja'far displays a range of emotions when confronted with these challenging situations. Therefore, this study aims to uncover the basic emotions of the main character in the novel “قلب الليل”, Ja'far, from the perspective of David Krech. This research employs David Krech's literary psychology approach to explore characters' emotions in literary works. This is a qualitative-descriptive study. The primary data source is the novel “قلب الليل” by Naguib Mahfouz. Data collection techniques include reading and note-taking. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study finds that the basic emotions of the main character in the novel “قلب الليل” include: two types of anger, two types of sadness, one type of joy, and one type of fear.</p>Zulfi Al - FaraMisbahus Surur

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">This study examines <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">al-muḥassināt al-lafẓiyyah</span></strong> (phonetic and verbal rhetorical devices) found in the song album by Muṣṭafā ʿĀṭif. The purpose of this research is to identify words and expressions that possess aesthetic value and rhetorical influence on listeners through the lyrics sung by Muṣṭafā ʿĀṭif. This research employs a <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">qualitative descriptive method</span></strong>. Data were collected using documentation techniques by reviewing, listening to, and analyzing the song lyrics in the album. The data sources consist of two types: online sources, specifically YouTube, and library sources, namely books related to rhetorical and balāghah studies. The findings reveal that the album contains <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">16 instances of jinās</span></strong> and <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">61 instances of</span> </strong><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">sajʿ</span></strong>. Among the 16 jinās, 3 are classified as <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">jinās tām</span></strong> within the category of <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">jinās mumāthil</span></strong>, while of the 61 sajʿ, 11 are categorized as <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">sajʿ mutawāzī</span></strong> and the remaining 50 as <strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">sajʿ muṭarraf</span></strong><strong>.</strong></span></p>Alpian RizkySri Sudiarti

<p><em>This research highlights the position of rhetoric in the classical Arabic tradition, as well as several literary genres that developed during that period,particularly those</em><em> with</em><em> unique characteristics that distinguish them from </em><em>the </em><em>liter</em><em>ature</em><em> of other nations. The aim is to explain how the Arab </em><em>people </em><em>paid </em><em>great </em><em>attention to the importance of beauty and effectiveness in language to strengthen the message conveyed to the listener. In addition, this study also aims to explore the characteristics and uniqueness of several literary genres such asal-qas}i>dah, al-khamriyyah, al-maqa>mah, dan al-ams|a>l. </em><em>This research</em><em> uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a text analysis method where data is taken </em><em>f</em><em>rom various references, especially those related to classical Arabic literature. The findings are as follows: 1) The Arabs have long emphasized the aspects of beauty and effectiveness in speech, even before rhetoric (al-balagha) became a formal academic discipline. 2) In the classical Arab tradition, there are several literary genres that are unique and distinct from those of other cultures, reflecting the creativity of Arab writers at that time.</em></p>Hasyim AshariAndi Abdul Hamzah

<p><em>Reading is considered one of the fundamental skills through which a person understands the relationship between written symbols and spoken sounds. The ideal proficiency in reading is evident when a person can read effectively, comprehend texts, and expand their vocabulary. Through reading, a person can understand the Holy Quran, the Hadiths, and Arabic language books. One of the schools where Arabic is taught is Al-Rayah Islamic Elementary School in Sukabumi. The lack of diversity in the teacher's use of educational aids and the students' perception of the difficulty of learning Arabic indicate their reluctance to learn it. The objective of this research is to determine the method of using the picture guessing game and its effectiveness in teaching reading skills. This research is a qualitative and quantitative study using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data obtained are in numerical form through observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis method employed by the researcher is the t-test using the Excel program to determine (p(T<=t), two-tail). The research reached two conclusions: the use of the picture guessing game in teaching reading skills consists of two versions: one implemented through PowerPoint and the other using written tools. The effectiveness of using the picture guessing game was evaluated through statistical calculation in Excel. The pretest and posttest results showed a (P(T<=t), two-tail) value of 0.000778484, which is less than 0.05. This means that H</em><em><sub>0</sub></em><em>, which states that the use of the game is not effective, is rejected, and H</em><em><sub>1</sub></em><em>, which states that the use of the game is effective, is accepted.</em></p>kisti robati
